elseproduct10. The Loneliest Link in a Very Strange Chain: In Memory of Jhonn Balance and Coil
This collection was originally started in the summer of 2004 and was due to be titled "Never" to celebrate those things Coil had announced, but had never seen the light of day. Contributing artists were encouraged to play out those things that might have been created or those things which had never officially happened.
This of course changed in November of 2004 when Jhonn Balance fell and passed from this world. The project came to a halt, even though most of the artists had already provided their contributions. Discussions were had between all parties involved in the effort and the project was nearly scrapped, elseproduct was convinced that this needed to be released. Justin from elseproduct decided to go forward with the project, but was adamant that it not be called "Never," because it was to horribly accurate. Items that were announced and never released would have been Wounded Galaxy, Beautiful Catastrophe (the insektys isotope and infinity transmitter), Autechre vs Coil (as perceived by Informational Terror Transmissions), Dennis Cooper as perceived through the Coil filter (3z13); revisits and remixes (Blackcell, Kuxaan Sum, The Slavestate Sound System, Ford Proco, Point Loma, Mort Douce); the very rare revisted (Secret Killer of Names and NOT); and tracks inspired by the legends (Black Sun Productions, S.Everroad, Kobe, Harvest, Jowonio Productions, Tactile) were some of the aural destinations that artists travelled to create their visions.
Available November 2005, one year from the day of Balances passing from this world, three versions of this project were created. The limited two disc set (sold out), the standard one disc edition (still available to order), and a version from ATAT-RECORDS with completely different artwork, the same music as the standard edition, and titled "the lonliest link (coil transmutations)."

elseproduct09. The Denver Gentlemen s/t
In 1995 the Denver Gentlemen recorded a brilliant release at the Bug Theater. Six years later, in 2001, the live recording was released as "Introducing...the Denver Gentlemen." The release presented a pivotal sound that has now grown to legendary status. Now, four years later, The Denver Gentlemen's self-titled studio release offers the listener a gritty perspective on emotion from the most influential band in Denver. The same wonderful tunes turned inward.
They present a surreal bar band performing exotic folk tunes, ballads and a page torn from Henry Miller. Unconcerned with genres, the Denver Gentlemen blends styles and sounds with gypsies, circus folk, lounge lizards and ghosts all co-mingling to create the most compelling release from Denver, and perhaps, the entire West.
Jeffrey-Paul (who founded the group in 1988) enlisted the help of David Nereson, Doug Anderson, Tom Hagerman (Devotchka), Sharon Gatliffe, Sara Thorpe, Paul Fonfara, Matt Shupe, Shawn Gilbert (Devotchka), Mark McCoin, Audrey Mae Norlander, and Valerie Ackermann. For this incarnation all songs were conceived, written and produced by Jeffrey-Paul except "Holiday" by Barry and Robin Gibb, "Fixin' To Die" by Bukka White, "So Peach" with Sharon Gatliffe, and "So The Moon And My Love Hides" with Mark McCoin.
This release came in conjunction with a rebirth of the Denver Gentlemen and a batch of live performances.

Track 7 dates from some of the earliest recordings. Track 11 features words from the book "At The Left Hand of God." Track 14 is of a remix of a Depeche Mode song that had only been heard as pieces and never as a whole before being composed.
